新闻媒体是传播信息的活动的主体,被赋予了监测环境、协调社会等功能和职责。作为传播信息活动中最活跃的因素,也是信息传播活动中“守门人”的媒体从业人,在信息传播过程中承担着自己的角色以及相应的社会责任。随着“事业单位,企业化管理”的转变,媒体有了双重角色,既要追求社会效益,还要追求经济效益。因此,媒体的角色变得更丰富,其承担的责任、义务以及自身的需求也变得更多。特别是在当今的互联网时代,自媒体快速发展,信息传播者更容易利用突发性、爆炸性事件吸引受众的关注。为了在激烈的竞争中获得更多利益,部分媒体的社会角色责任缺失。
The news media is the main body of the activities that disseminate information and is given the functions and responsibilities of monitoring the environment and coordinating the society. As the most active factor in the dissemination of information activities, it is also a media practitioner of “gatekeepers” in the information dissemination activities, who assume their roles and corresponding social responsibilities in the process of information dissemination. With the transformation of “institutions and enterprise management”, the media has a dual role, not only to pursue social benefits but also to pursue economic benefits. As a result, the role of the media becomes richer and its responsibilities, obligations, and needs become greater. Especially in today’s Internet era, since the rapid development of the media, information disseminators are more likely to use the sudden and explosive events to attract the attention of the audience. In order to obtain more benefits in the fierce competition, some of the social roles of media lack responsibility.
