藏书家、校勘家黄丕烈对宋刻书之偏嗜是人所共知的,其自号即为“佞宋主人”。但佞宋之黄丕烈,并没有歧视或忽视明以下之古籍版本。笔者近读一则资料,即可以看出这一点。国家图书馆所藏明嘉靖四十四年王廷相刻本《子昂集》十卷本(索书号13081),曾为黄丕烈所校读,其在该书之扉页处墨笔题跋日:“余于宋元刻本讲之素矣,近日反留心明刻。非降而下之,宋元板尚有讲求之人,前人言之,后人知之,授受源流,昭然若睹。若明刻,人不甚贵,及今不讲明而切究之,恐澌灭殆尽,反不如宋元之时代虽远,声名益著也。即如此书刻于
