加拿大语言心理学家宾佛特博士曾说:婴儿时期接触外国语言,在脑海里会留下语言的痕迹,即使没有记住,将来学习时,他必有惊人的进步。宾佛特博士本身就有这种经验。他曾经在西班牙马德里逗留过一段时间,那时他还带着5岁的儿子同行,其子在西班牙学校上了3个月的课,和那里的孩子游玩,听他们讲话,只是没有正式学习西班牙文。因此一离开西班牙也就忘了那里的语言。
Dr Binford, a Canadian psychologist of psychology, once said that when you are in contact with a foreign language in your babyhood, you can leave a trace of language in your mind. Even if you do not remember it, you will have to make amazing progress in your future studies. Dr Binford himself has this experience. He had spent some time in Madrid, Spain, when he accompanied his 5-year-old son and his son spent three months in a Spanish school, playing with their children and listening to them, but without official study in Spain Text. So as soon as I left Spain, I forgot the language there.
