早期的视频移动探测是采用模拟方式,即把移动探测局限于两幅完整画面灰度级变化的比较,因此造成这种方式在实际使用时具有很高的误报率。尤其在户外,昼夜交替、气象变化、灯光干扰和飞禽掠过等因素都会引起误报警。随着数字技术和多媒体技术的发展,视频移动探测技术也采用了数字方式。这种方式对入侵物体可以设置如:大小、方向、移动持续时间和入侵次数等诸个特征因素,使移动探测不再是灰度级的比较,而是特征参量的判断。以此确定是否报警,极大地减少了误报,使视频移动探测技术真正进入了实用阶段。
