登革热何时开始在我国出现,至今尚不清楚,只知在抗日战争期间,沿海及华中一带曾发生流行,但此后即无报导。因此,估计至今最少已有30年以上没有发生。1978年5～6月间,在佛山市石湾镇开始有登革热散在病例发生,至7月下旬病例显著增多,8月中旬以后,更向市区及邻近南海的南庄,顺德的沙滘等地传播,发病数以千计;对当地群众的生产、生活都带来很大影响。由于这是一个老问题的新出现,同志们都很关心,现就我们参加当地防治工作过程所观察到的一些问题,谈谈认识,望同志们给予指正。
It is still not clear when dengue will start to appear in our country. It is only known that there was a widespread epidemic along the coast and in Central China during the Anti-Japanese War, but no reports have been made since then. Since this is an emerging new issue, all the comrades are very concerned about some of the problems we have observed when participating in the local prevention and control work.
