(一) 花明楼乡是刘少奇同志的故乡,位于宁乡县城的东南,有公路与长沙、湘潭相通,交通方便。该乡下设12个村,1983年总户数为3,756户,其中农业户3,735户,总人口16,940人,其中农业人口15,961人,劳动力8,305个。土地总面积25,605亩,其中耕地19,944亩(水田17,002亩,旱地2,942亩),占土地总面积的34%;山地面积25,065亩,(有林地20,333亩),占42.8%;水面4,327亩,可养殖水面3703亩,占7.4%;其他9,269亩,占15.8%。地下矿藏资源也较丰富,以煤、石灰石为主。
(1) Huaming Lou Xiang is the hometown of Comrade Liu Shaoqi and is located in the southeast of Ningxiang County. There are highways connecting Changsha with Xiangtan and enjoys convenient transportation. The village has 12 villages. In 1983, the total number of households was 3,756, of which 3,735 were agricultural households with a total population of 16,940, of which agricultural population was 15,961 and labor force was 8,305. The total land area is 25,605 mu, including 19,944 mu of cultivated land (paddy field of 17,002 mu and 2,942 mu of dry land), accounting for 34% of the total land area; mountainous area of 25,065 mu (with 20,333 mu of forest land), accounting for 42.8%; and 4,327 mu of water surface, 3703 acres of water, accounting for 7.4%; other 9,269 acres, accounting for 15.8%. Underground mineral resources are also more abundant, with coal, limestone-based.
