随着人类社会经济的迅速发展,陆上资源日形衰竭,向面积为陆地2.44倍的海洋进军的要求也就日益迫切。海洋工程为海洋科学调查和海洋开发利用提供手段和装备,是一门新兴的综合性的学科。现将海洋开发的几个主要领域简述如下:
