中国国防科技信息中心从1992年下半年开始,在MIL军用标准(14库)上进行近一年的试验,在我国率先推出“读者终端”检索。“读者终端”是提供给用户自己上机操作检索文献的一种计算机辅助设施,实行免费检索。用户可根据不同内容自选检索途径和检索策略进行人机对话。
Since the second half of 1992, China’s National Defense Science and Technology Information Center has been conducting tests on the MIL military standard (14 libraries) for nearly a year and pioneered “reader terminal” retrieval in China. “Reader Terminal” is a computer-aided facility that provides users with access to their own documents for retrieval operations and carries out free retrieval. Users can choose according to different content retrieval and search strategies for human-computer dialogue.
