Although the “One Man’s Experience” is only a short story of more than 30000 words, it has a significant pioneering significance in contemporary Soviet literature. Sholokhov paid great attention to the novel to deal with the contradiction between “man and war ” from a new angle. This short story shows the ordinary beauty and beauty of human nature with the everyday life and personal destiny of an ordinary person. Based on the true experience of a veteran, “One Man’s Experience” tells us about a war-torn, hopeless, strong man and his hope based on the intersection of the present and the past.
