乾隆年间的四库馆中,不乏精通书法的艺术家,乾隆的三个王子、舒赫德、翁方纲、彭元瑞、裘日修、赵怀玉、纪昀等,均是卓有成就的书法家,乾隆本人也堪称书法家。上有所好,下必甚焉。因此,集全国之力聚一流学者的修书活动自然会用心于书法艺术的总结,体现出乾隆及其时代的书法观,且可担当起乾隆及其以前历代书法作品的总结任务。这具体体现在《四库全书总目》中,本文就此作一总结。一
