位于巴塞尔梅瑟广场的巴塞尔会展区每年举办大大小小的会展活动大约250场,其中最重要的两场是每年春季的巴塞尔珠宝钟表展和夏季的巴塞尔艺术博览会。创立于1970年的巴塞尔艺术博览会进行到今年已是第41届。作为全球艺术博览会的规则典范,今年的巴塞尔沿用了一贯的格局,主展场仍然设在巴塞尔会展区的1号厅和2号厅。1号厅内的单元包括:艺术无限、艺术宣言、艺术对话、艺术沙龙和艺术杂志;2号厅内的单元包括:艺术画廊、艺术特写、艺术出版。
The Basel Convention Center in Basel’s Basel Basel hosts approximately 250 events each year, in large and small, with the most important two being the Basel Jewelery & Watches Fair every spring and the Basel Art Fair in summer. The Basel Art Fair, founded in 1970, is the 41st this year. As a rule of thumb for the global art fair, this year’s Basel has followed a consistent pattern and the main exhibition is still located in Halls 1 and 2 of the Basel Convention Center. Units in Hall 1 include: Arts Unlimited, Arts Manifesto, Art Dialogue, Art Salon and Art Magazine; Units in Hall 2 include: Art Gallery, Feature Art, Art Publishing.
