原北京十二中初中部的北京十二中分校作为“国有公办民助”体制改革的试点校,自2001年独立办学以来,坚持以人为本,以促进教师和学生的可持续发展为宗旨,形成了“追求卓越,争创一流”的目标理念。仅仅三年时间,这所有着近70年历史的学校就放射出耀人的光彩——学校中考成绩连续位居丰台区第一,课外活动小组成绩位居全区前列,综合办学成绩位列全区首位,引起了社会各界的广泛关注。
