当前,各大电信运营商 ARPU 值不断下降,中国电信业目前已经进入调整和转型期,业务的重心已经由传统的语音业务转向数据业务和移动增值业务。与此同时,电子商务已经步入第二个春天,进入理性发展时期,但是支付手段和诚信依然是制约其发展的瓶颈。不少有识之士指出,电信企业有着整合电子商务产业链的天然优势,蓬勃发展的电子商务则能给电信业带来新的、巨大的利润增长源泉,因此电信运营商能够也应当积极进入电子商务领域。近期,中国电信与8848合作构建电子商务平台,移动运营商与金融机构合作整合移动电子商务产业链。种种迹象表明,电信运营商将可能成为电子商务领域的主力军。近日,武汉电信的电子商务平台“华中商网”已经基本建设完毕,即将正式投入运行。这是中国电信最大的电子商务平台,也是电信运营商在电子商务领域迈出的重要一步,意义非凡。
At present, the ARPU values of major telecom operators are declining. China telecom industry has now entered the period of adjustment and transformation. Its business focus has shifted from traditional voice services to data services and mobile value-added services. At the same time, e-commerce has entered the second spring, entered a period of rational development, but the means of payment and integrity is still the bottleneck restricting its development. Many people of insight have pointed out that telecom enterprises have the natural advantage of integrating the e-commerce industry chain. The booming e-commerce can bring new and huge profit growth sources to the telecommunications industry. Therefore, telecom operators should be able to actively enter E-commerce. Recently, China Telecom and 8848 co-operation to build e-commerce platform, mobile operators and financial institutions to integrate mobile e-commerce industry chain. There are indications that telecom operators will likely become the main force in the field of e-commerce. Recently, Wuhan Telecom e-commerce platform “Huazhong Shangwang” has been completed capital construction, will be formally put into operation. This is the largest e-commerce platform of China Telecom and an important step for telecom operators in the area of e-commerce.
