孙云铸教授是我国著名的古生物学家和地质学家,是我国古生物学和地层学的开拓者和奠基人之一,又是我国老一辈地质教育家,他1914年入北京大学预科学习,1920年毕业于北京大学地质学系,留校任教,1937—1952年任地质学系主任,对我国地质人才的培养,对北大地质学系的建设和发展,作出了不可磨灭的贡献。1995年是孙云铸教授诞辰100周年,谨概略地记述孙先生在北大读书、执教、治学、办系等情形,以表达我们
Professor Sun Yunzhu is a famous palaeontologist and geologist in China. He is one of the pioneers and founders of paleontology and stratigraphy in China. He is also a geologist of the older generation in our country. He entered Peking University in 1914 to study in 1920, He graduated from Peking University Department of Geology, stayed in school to teach, from 1937 to 1952, director of Department of Geology, geology of China’s personnel training, Peking University Department of Geology, construction and development made an indelible contribution. 1995 is the 100th anniversary of Professor Sun Yunzhu’s birthday, would like to give a brief account of Mr. Sun in Beijing University reading, coaching, scholarship, office system and so on, to express our
