从总体上看,民族姓名由形式和内容两部分组成。民族姓名的形式反映民族语言特点,而它的内容则反映民族社会的特点;前者在基本结构上比较稳定,而后者则富于变化,随着社会的发展、变化而变化。同时,两者彼此关联、密不可分;内容必须通过形式来表现,形式又必须有内容才有意义。民族姓名的形式主要包括语音、语法和语义等3个方面,下面我们从这3个方面,简要讨论民族语言对民族姓名的制约情况。
In general, the name of a nation consists of two parts: form and content. The form of national name reflects the national language characteristics, and its content reflects the characteristics of national society; the former is relatively stable in its basic structure, while the latter is rich in change and changes with the development and change of society. At the same time, the two are inextricably linked with each other; the content must be expressed in terms of form, and the form must have meaning in it. The forms of ethnic names mainly include three aspects: phonetics, grammar and semantics. From these three aspects, we briefly discuss the restriction of national languages on the names of nations.
