偶氮硝羧是近年来应用于分析化学的一种新的显色剂。此试剂首先应用于比色测定碱土金属,最近才应用于比色测定铈组稀土元素,此试剂为在钇组稀土存在下直接比色测定铈组稀土元素提供了新途径。国内自从武汉大学化学系首次合成了偶氮硝羧后,这个新试剂立即引起有关化验室的重视。最近武大又采用偶氮硝羧光度法测定矿石中铈组稀土元素,此方法简便和快速,有很大的实用价值。
Azobenzene is a new color reagent used in analytical chemistry in recent years. This reagent was first applied to the colorimetric determination of alkaline earth metals and was only recently applied to the colorimetric determination of rare earth elements in the cerium group. This reagent provides a new way for the direct colorimetric determination of rare earth elements in the cerium group in the presence of the rare earth yttrium group. Since the first synthesis of azocarboxylazine in the Department of Chemistry of Wuhan University in China, the new reagent immediately aroused the attention of the relevant laboratories. Recently, Wu also adopted azo nitric acid photometric determination of rare earth elements in the cerium ore, this method is simple and fast, has great practical value.
