中英《南京条约》(原称《江宁条约》),签订于1842年8月29日,至今已经整整160个年头了。这是近代史上,帝国主义强加在中国人民头上的第一个不平等条约,是中国沦为半封建半殖民地灾难历史的开始。
The Sino-British Treaty of Nanking (formerly known as the Jiangning Treaty) was signed on August 29, 1842 and has now lasted for 160 years. This is the first unequal treaty imposed by imperialism on the Chinese people in recent history. It is the beginning of China’s demise as a semi-colonial and semi-colonial disaster.
