Currently, flat panel technology has made significant progress in replacing cathode ray tubes for use as displays for computers. There are currently available thin film EL devices having 640 × 400 dots capable of displaying the full page size information on the market. However, the luminescent color is limited to the yellow-orange color. Only ZnS: Nn can emit bright light under this color.
