隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,更是人们思想和行为的方式。情感这一较抽象的概念常是用隐喻来表达的。英汉两种语言中都存在大量的情感隐喻,这些情感隐喻既有共性,也有差异性。
Metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but also a way of thinking and acting. The more abstract concept of emotion is often expressed in terms of metaphors. There are a large number of emotional metaphors in both English and Chinese languages, which have both commonalities and differences.
