Objective: To observe the effect of connective tissue growth factor peptide (P1c) on coagulation parameters in rats. Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: P1c low, medium and high dose groups, heparin sodium group and normal saline group. The rats in experimental group were injected with low, medium and high doses of 2,4, mg · kg-1) of P1c, heparin sodium (50 U · kg-1) and an equal volume of normal saline, coagulation parameters of each group were measured and compared. Results: There was significant difference in coagulation parameters between heparin sodium group and saline group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in coagulation parameters between P1c group and normal saline group (P> 0.05 ). Conclusion: P1c has no significant effect on coagulation parameters in rats.
