螺旋输送机构在输送粒状材料的工厂中用得较多。该机构中的螺旋轴在制造时,它的螺旋齿是用钢板焊接成的。这种齿的形状是螺旋板形齿,它的齿形高、底径小(图1)、外径与轴颈必须同轴。要达到这一要求必须用车床车削螺旋板形齿的外径。
Spiral conveyors are more used in plants that deliver granular materials. The helical shaft in the mechanism is manufactured with its helical teeth welded with steel plate. The shape of this tooth is a helical plate tooth, which has a high profile and a small bottom diameter (Figure 1). The outer diameter must be coaxial with the journal. To achieve this requirement, the outer diameter of the spiral bevel gear must be turned with a lathe.
