清明时节,我们几位集邮爱好者来到闽西革命烈士纪念碑,向中国无产阶级邮政设计第一枚邮票的设计者张廷竹烈士敬献花圈。张廷竹于1902年生于龙岩市龙门镇湖洋村,自幼勤奋好学,喜欢画画写字。1920年考入龙岩九中,因受“五四”运动进步思想的熏陶,在校敢于与黑暗势力作斗争。1924年春,张廷竹因参加学生运动,被学校当局开除,转学漳州后考入上海美术专科学校,旋后又转入上海新华艺术大学。结业后,经友人举荐,回福建在厦门集美学校担任美术教师。他在闽南任教期间,秘密参加地下党工作。1929年5月,应郭滴人的邀请,张廷竹回到
During the Ching Ming Festival, several of our stamp collectors came to the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument in Western Fujian and presented wreaths to the martyr Zhang Tingzhu, the designer of the first stamp of the proletarian postal design in China. Zhang Tingzhu was born in 1902 in Longyan Town, Longyan Lake Village, childhood studious, like painting and writing.
