Beijing Haidian District Public Affairs Commission has conducted two trials of “Huimin Hospital” in the district in the past two years. The hospital in Shangdi District has been operating for one year, saving 20 million yuan for patients, and the government’s difference has subsidized 30 million yuan. What benefits does the people get from these hospitals? Can the low price of medical treatment ensure that the quality of medical care does not decline? How long does such low price last for? Can this model be replicated in the jurisdiction where it lives? The residents seem to be more concerned about these issues.
