根据老挝政府制定的区域社会经济发展规划,1997年老挝政府审批了拟在2000年前后完工的大、中、小建设项目1547项,总投资约551.6亿基普(1000基普约合1美元),为加快这批项目的落实步伐,老挝政府依据上寮、中寮、下寮三地区社会经济发展进度不一的特点,着重在农业、工业、交通、电信等领域规划了项目分布和项目预算,并鼓励地方政府与外国公司在资金和技术方面合作开发这些项目。
According to the regional social and economic development plan formulated by the Laos government, the Lao government approved 1,547 large, medium and small-scale construction projects to be completed around 2000 with a total investment of 55.16 billion kip (1,000 kip and 1 U.S. dollar) In order to speed up the implementation of these projects, the Lao government has planned the project distribution and project budget in the fields of agriculture, industry, transportation and telecommunications based on the progress of socio-economic development in Shangliao, Zhongliao and Xialiao areas. And encourage local governments and foreign companies to collaborate on these projects both financially and technically.
