从记事起,布鲁斯就知道自己父亲的不同。父亲的右腿比左腿短,走路总是一拐一拐的,他不上班,每天在家里的打字机上敲呀敲,一切都显得平淡无奇。布鲁斯很困惑,母亲怎么愿意嫁给这样的男人并和他很恩爱呢?母亲是个律师,有着体面的工作,长得也很好看。小的时候,布鲁斯倒不觉得有个瘸腿的父亲有何不妥。但自从上学他见了许多同学的父亲后,他开始觉得自己的父亲有点窝囊了。实际上,他打心眼里看不起父亲,从不愿和父亲一起出席公开场合。
From the notes, Bruce knew the difference between his father. His father’s right leg shorter than the left leg, walking is always abducted, and he did not go to work, every day at home typewriter knocking knock, everything seems bland. Bruce was puzzled. How could a mother be willing to marry such a man and be kind to him? The mother is a lawyer, has a decent job and looks good. As a kid, Bruce did not think there was anything wrong with a lame father. But after he met many of his classmates’ fathers since attending school, he began to feel that his father was a nasty one. In fact, he despised his father in his heart, never going to attend public meetings with his father.
