英国工艺美术运动已经过去一百多年了,回顾拉斯金、莫里斯提出的艺术主张仍然有很重要的现实意义。艺术家、设计师应了解艺术的社会功能,努力提高自身的艺术审美修养,创作出优秀的艺术作品,才能真正地做到“艺术设计为大众服务”。
It has been more than a hundred years since the British arts and crafts movement was reviewed. It is still of great practical significance to review the artistic propositions made by Raskin and Morris. Artists and designers should understand the social function of art, strive to improve their artistic aesthetic accomplishments, and create excellent works of art so as to truly achieve the goal of “providing art design to serve the general public.”
