在中國共產黨和毛澤東主席的英明正確的領導下,我國的第一屆全國人民代表大會第一次會議已經在我國首都北京舉行,並勝利地完成了它的具有偉大歷史意義的任務@次會議通過並頒布了我們人民的第一個社會主義類型的憲法;制定了我們國家機構的各個重要組織法;選舉了全體人民最愛戴的領袖毛澤東同志為中華人民共和國主席;組成了全國人民代表大會常務委員會、國務院和國防委員會;並選舉了最高人民法院院長和最高人民檢察院檢察長。正如毛主席在開幕詞中所指示的,「這次會議是標誌着我國人民從一九四九年建國以來的新勝利和新發展的里程碑。」我國的憲法總結了我國人民百餘年來革命鬥爭的經驗,把革命成果用法律的形式固定了下來,表達了全國人民一致的願望,肯定了我國的社會主義的前途,並規定了我國走向社會主義的具體步驟。憲法上所規定我國在過渡時期的總任務,是要由全體人民來努力完成的,我們物理學工作者同樣負有光榮而艱鉅的使命。我們認為物理學工作者在我國社會主義建設的過渡時期中的主要任務有兩個方面。一方面是要爭取適時地解決在日益發展的生產建設中不斷提出的日益加多的物理學上的問題;另一方面是要把
With the wise and correct leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and Chairman Mao Zedong, the first meeting of our country’s first National People’s Congress has been held in our capital, Beijing, and has successfully completed its task of great historic significance. Adopted and promulgated our people’s first socialist type of constitution; formulated the important organizational laws of our state institutions; elected Mao Zedong, the leader most loved by all the people, as the chairman of the People’s Republic of China; formed the standing committee of the National People’s Congress Committees, the State Council and the National Defense Commission; and elected the president of the Supreme People’s Court and the procurator of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate.
