In recent years, the rapid development of watermelon production in our province, 1986 acreage reached 1.5 million mu, but more concentrated in mid-June to mid-July listing, supply time is short, low income of melon farmers.In order to promote the development of early maturing high-yielding cultivation of watermelon , Our institute has carried out the precocious and high-yielding cultivation experiment since 1984. The experiment and the demonstration proves that the early season of watermelon cultivation in our province can be early to the nursery in early February and the transplanting in early March
