In order to improve rubber production, reduce production costs and get better economic benefits as early as possible, scientists have made rubber breeding one of the most important research topics. Conventionally, it takes 28 to 30 years to breed a strain, and because it has only 1% selection rate, it takes a long time to select a new strain from a large amount of tested material. Rubber breeders have long raised the issue of shortening the breeding period and increasing the selection rate. The only way to solve this problem is to make an early choice of nursery stock. The Malaysian Rubber Research Institute started an early forecast of production, but hardly any work on wind and cold forecast.
