冶金部科技司于1989年4月7日至8日在本钢南芬选矿厂召开BK-1021筒式磁选机技术鉴定会。该机系北京矿冶研究总院根据冶金部下达的任务于1985年开始研制,1987~1988年在南芬选矿厂与该厂共同进行了工业试验和生产考查,取得很好的成绩。 BK-1021筒式磁选机的设计采取了大磁包角的磁力系统,底箱设计成有前后溢流堰的新型分选槽。此分选箱设有溢流通道的特殊分选室,使之形成低磁力分选区、强力扫选区和溢流分选区,实现磁力重选和磁选效应,达到提高选矿效率的目的。该机操作控制灵活,适用于各种类型的鞍山式磁铁矿石,分选效果好。
