为张西平教授二○○○年在东方出版社一书的再版。其最大特色在于将欧洲文化史的变迁与中国文化史的变迁放在同一世界历史进程中加以考察,使用双向互动与文化转型的眼光来描写明末清初的中西文化交流,为学术界提供了一幅较为完整的明末清初中西文化交流的全景图,并指明了该阶段中西文化具有平等交流的性质,由此可对以往研究倾向起纠偏作用。
For the second edition of Professor Zhang Xiping’s book published by Oriental Press in 2000. Its most prominent feature is that it examines the changes of European cultural history and the changes of Chinese cultural history in the same historical process in the world and uses the two-way interaction and cultural transformation to describe the cultural exchange between China and the West in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, providing academics with A complete picture of the Sino-Western cultural exchange between the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and the nature of equal exchanges between Chinese and Western cultures at that stage, which indicates that it can play a role in correcting the previous research tendency.
