盛唐是中国历史上空前繁荣辉煌的时代,盛唐为何可以兴盛?盛唐的兴盛局面表现在哪些方面?盛唐时的社会、文化、对外交往、人民生活等方面的情况如何?盛唐为何没有保持下去?一系列问题有待深入探讨。北京大学在唐代的研究上曾经取得过丰厚的成果,如向达、汪篯、邓广铭、周一良、王永兴、张广达、吴宗国等先生,都有开拓性的唐史研究成果,目前也有一批中青年学者在从事唐代的历史、考古、政治、法律、经济、文学、思想、宗教等方面的研究。在北京大学“创建世界一流大学规划学科建设”项目资金的支持下,以北京大学历史系和中国古代史研究中心的研究基地为依托,我们邀请一批校内外、海内外在唐代研究领域颇有成就的学者,来实施“盛唐工
The prosperous Tang is an era of unprecedented prosperity and glory in Chinese history, why prosperous Tang flourished? Prosperity of Prosperous Tang in what aspects?
