最近,一股低价“龙卷风”袭击了中国软件业,金山公司于10月23日将翻译词典软件“金山词霸2000”市场销售价从168元降至28元,同日推出的网络翻译新品《金山快译2000》亦以28元的价格在市场上零售。此消息发布后,无异于在中国软件业投入一颗“原子弹”,引起了极大的震憾和恐惶,而有类似产品的软件厂商更是不敢怠慢。以翻译软件为主营业务的实达铭泰公司,在得知消息后随即将其新近上市的《东方网译》由原定价88元以首批28元特惠价推出;天津英业达公司亦将要上市的《世纪词王》由原定价128元降至28元。至此,在中国司空见惯的“价格大战”在中国翻译软件业全面爆发。
