立足中国古代传统道德思想,从道德教育的内容与方法方面对搞好公民道德教育这一问题进行探讨,认为中国传统道德思想的“律己修身、仁爱孝悌、尚群为公、崇尚节俭”是提高公民道德修养的基本源泉,而“以身作则、为仁由己、启发诱导、循序渐进”则是加强公民道德教育的有效途径。同时,要重视公民行为规范的训练,形成由家庭、学校、社会“三位一体”的教育模式。
