今年4月1日至6日,由中华民族史研究会等单位联合发起的“海峡两岸史学家合撰《中华民族史》座谈研讨会”,在重庆举行。来自全国各地的史学专家和台湾的同行共40多人,参加了大会。这是一次民间学术团体主办的以讨论如何编辑《中华民族史》为主要内容的工作会议。两年前,大陆学者、重庆师院历史学教授史式,在上海《社会科学报》上撰文,倡导以一种全新的观念,编写一部《中国民族史》。史式教授认为,历代史书存有严重的偏颇和不足。例如偏重帝王将相,忽视民族群体;偏重汉族及其它统治民族,忽略被统治民族;偏重军事、政治,忽视经济文化;偏重权力权术,忽视智力学术;偏重国内史事,忽视海外
From April 1 to 6 this year, the Symposium on Symposium on the History of the Chinese Nation co-sponsored by historians of both sides of the Taiwan Strait by the Chinese National History Research Association and other units jointly held in Chongqing. Historical experts from all over the country and Taiwan’s counterparts a total of more than 40 people attended the conference. This is a working conference sponsored by a private academic community to discuss how to edit the history of the Chinese nation. Two years ago, the mainland scholar and historian professor of the Chongqing Teachers’ College wrote an article in the Shanghai Social Science Journal, advocating a new concept of “writing a history of Chinese nation.” Professor of history believes that there are serious biases and deficiencies in history books. For example, emphasis will be placed on monarchs and neglected ethnic groups; emphasis will be placed on Han and other ruling ethnic groups while ignoring dominated ethnic groups; emphasis will be placed on military and political issues while neglect of economic culture; emphasis will be placed on intellectual power and intellectual intellect;
