在新疆甜菜丛根病株上分离到一种杆状病毒,侵染甜菜、菠菜、苋色藜、昆诺阿藜和番杏;与BNYVV抗血清有反应、传播介体为甜菜多粘菌(Polymyxa betae)。稀释终点为10~(-3)~10~(-4),致死温度60~65℃,10分钟,体外保毒期约5~6天。粒体有4个主要的长度:80、110、260、400nm左右,宽约18nm。通过上述鉴定工作,认为该病毒与国外报道的甜菜坏死黄脉病毒(BNYVV)是一致的。
