云南省红河州建水县位于云南省南部红河北岸,自唐元和年间设县至今,已有1200多年的历史,境内居住有汉、彝、回、哈尼、傣、苗等民族。元以后,随着江南地区大量汉族移民迁来,逐渐形成了汉文化和少数民族文化相交融而又具特色的多元一体的边地文化。明清时建水为临安府所在地,一度成为滇南的政治、经济、文化、军事中心和交通枢纽,素有“滇南邹鲁”“文献名邦”和“诗书郡”的美誉。
Located in the northern bank of the Red River in the southern part of Yunnan Province, Jianshui County of Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province has a history of more than 1,200 years since the establishment of the county in the Tang and Yuan Dynasties and has lived in Han, Yi, Hui, Hani, Dai and Miao nationalities in China.
