意大利六个杨树无性系是1972年底引进我国的.至今已有六年时间.1976年春,省林业科学研究所和南京林产工业学院在我所林业队设点进行区域性试验.通过三年的观察,已初步看出这六个杨树无性系具有速生性强、适应性能好的特点,可望成为我区解决木材自给的主要造林树种之一,现将我所三年观察的基本性况简述如下:
Six poplar clones of Italy were introduced into China at the end of 1972. So far, six years have passed since the spring of 1976.
