以北京市东城区3个示范区的石楠为研究对象,通过越冬形态观察、叶片组织结构显微观测和叶片电导率的测定,分析了小气候环境对石楠耐寒性的影响。结果表明,半背风向阳处石楠叶片的栅栏组织与总厚度的比值较高,相对电导率较低,耐寒性较强,可划为II级(生长基本正常,叶色、叶柄角度有一定变化,但经济(观赏)价值未降低。不经任何保护,即可正常越冬。能开花、结实)。背风不向阳处石楠耐寒性较差,归为III级(如无保护,当年生枝条会枯死;如加保护,当年生枝条枯死部分不超过1/3,株高、树冠都能逐年增加。一般只能开花,不能结实)。可见小气候环境对石楠的耐寒性有一定的影响,光照条件的选择是提高石楠等边缘树种耐寒性的主要途径。
