上世纪60年代末,一个阿尔巴尼亚政府代表团访华,周恩来总理同对方会谈时,对方提出了一个庞大的要求中国援助项目的清单。当周恩来非常委婉地拒绝这一中国难以承受的援助时,对方很不理解,他们认为中国是个大国,这点援助算不了什么。双方会谈陷入了僵局。在这种情况下,周恩来建议暂时休会,次日陪他们去看看中国的农村。
When a delegation of the Albanian government visited China in the late 1960s and Premier Chou En-lai held talks with the other side, the other side put forward a large list of requests for assistance to China. When Zhou Enlai very tactfully rejected this unbearable aid from China, he did not understand each other very much. They think that China is a big country and this assistance is nothing. The talks between the two sides have reached a deadlock. In this case, Zhou Enlai suggested a temporary recess, with the next day to see them in rural China.
