An expert system for the design of metal adhesive joints written in the Turbo-PROLOG declarative language is presented. The system of steel, aluminum and its alloys, copper and its alloys, stainless steel, titanium and its alloys, cast iron and other similar or dissimilar metal adhesive joints of the process design, adhesive selection, adhesive bonding process parameters can be determined automatically.
