国营广东大岭山林场位于北纬23°02′,东经113°45′;全场面积34,610亩,多数为海拔100—300米的丘陵地,最高510米,平均坡度20—30度;属南亚热带气候,据东莞气象站1959—1966年及1970—1980年的气候记录:年平均温度22.1℃,七月为高温月,平均温度28.6℃;一月为低温月,平均温度14.1℃;年活动积温8.016℃;年平均降水量1,797毫米,4—9月为雨季,占年降水量的84%,10—3月为旱季;全年基本无霜,偶遇寒流南侵而出现霜日,年平均4—5天。全场土壤为发育于花岗岩的厚土层

The whole site covers an area of 34,610 mu, most of which are hills of 100-300 meters above sea level with a maximum height of 510 meters and an average slope of 20-30 degrees.
