OBJECTIVE To understand the relationship between the hazards of manganese poisoning in the welding operation of rail transit manufacturing and the incidence and prognosis of chronic manganese poisoning and provide a scientific basis for the formulation of enterprise management and prevention and control strategies. Methods The data of on - site monitoring, health monitoring and chronic manganese poisoning were reviewed, and the patients with manganese poisoning were followed up. The results of multi-spot welding operation manganese exceeding the standard rate of 43.27%, the incidence rate of 1.98%; average incidence of chronic manganese poisoning workers convergence 27.75 ± 5.48) a; follow-up manganese poisoning in 15 cases, extrapyramidal symptoms did not improve, EEG first visit Nine cases were abnormal, and the other five cases were abnormal, showing a tendency of improvement. Seven cases were abnormal in initial EMG examination and nine cases were abnormal in referral. Conclusion Manganese poisoning in rail transit equipment manufacturing industry is more serious, and the incidence of manganese poisoning is still high. The symptoms of central nervous system of manganese poisoning turn out to be a trend of worsening. Peripheral nerve damage is aggravating. The treatment of manganese poisoning in electric welding still needs to be strengthened.
