编者按:2017年3月15日,十二届全国人大五次会议通过了《中华人民共和国民法总则》。民法总则对正确调整民事关系、保护民事主体的合法权益、维护社会发展和经济秩序具有非常重要的意义。2017年10月1日,民法总则正式施行,对于确立并完善我国民事基本制度必将起到积极的推动作用。民法总则是民法典的开篇之作,在民法典中起统领性作用。民法总则的施行,标志着我国民法典的编纂工作迈出了坚实的第一步。
Editor’s note: March 15, 2017, the Fifth Session of the 12th NPC passed the General Principles of Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China. The general rules of civil law are of great significance to the correct regulation of civil relations, the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of civil subjects, and the maintenance of social development and economic order. On October 1, 2017, the General Provisions on Civil Law came into force, which will surely play a positive role in promoting the establishment and improvement of China’s basic civil system. The general rules of civil law is the beginning of the civil code for the work, play a leading role in the Civil Code. The implementation of the general provisions of civil law, marking the codification of our civil code has taken a solid first step.
