曾纪泽是我国近代著名的洋务外交家,其近代开放意识对他所从事的外交事业助益颇多。推究曾纪泽开放意识的成因,主要在于时代背景、家世影响、个人因素三个方面。曾纪泽的开放意识涉及面极广,集中反映在他对闭关锁国政策、西方外交礼仪、中西通商、西方国际法等问题的看法上。由于时代环境的限制,曾纪泽的近代开放意识仍存在诸多不足,这也符合历史发展的实际。
Zeng Jize, a well-known foreign affairs diplomat in modern times in China, has made a lot of contributions to his diplomacy in his modern sense of opening up. To investigate the causes of Zeng Ji-ze’s open-mindedness lies in three aspects: the background of the times, the influence of family life, and personal factors. Zeng Ji-ze’s open-mindedness involves a wide range of issues and is mainly reflected in his opinions on issues such as the policy of national security closure, Western diplomatic etiquette, Chinese and Western trade, and Western international law. Due to the limitation of the times, there are still many deficiencies in Zeng Ji-ze’s sense of openness in modern times, which is in line with the actual development of history.
