北京朝内大街后拐棒胡同是我熟悉的地方。后拐棒胡同甲2号是文改会宿舍大院,院内有一片平房,是文改会的招待所。20世纪80年代,我读汉语研究生时在招待所住过。走在后拐棒胡同,常常会碰到著名语言学家。后拐棒宿舍楼建成于1985年。我的老师李行健先生回忆说,当年分配宿舍楼时,大家听说周有光先生也要搬来,都很高兴。时年80岁的周老“离开了公主第内清朝末年建筑的破烂不堪的住宅,迁移到名称古怪的后拐棒胡同”。行健师与周老同住一楼,周老住三层,行健师住五层。
