有证据表明,肿瘤组织变化伴随有细胞表面成分尤其是糖蛋白的改变。L-岩藻糖为糖蛋白中糖类成分之一,细胞表面糖蛋白水平的变化可能伴随有岩藻糖水平的变化。作者测定了瑞士种大鼠移植性肿瘤增生期以及抗癌药5-氟尿嘧啶(5-Fu)治疗后的退变期血清中岩藻糖水平,试图探讨血清岩藻糖水平的变化能否作为实验性肿瘤增殖的一个指征。作者进行了两方面的实验。一是非用药对照实验。即分别测定瑞士大鼠移植肿瘤细胞后不同时间内血清岩藻糖水平,与正常组对照。首先将每个大鼠接种Ehrlich肿瘤细胞(Ehrlich’s Carcinoma)细胞1×10~7个。然后分别于5、7、10、14、20天
There is evidence that changes in tumor tissue are accompanied by changes in cell surface components, especially glycoproteins. L-fucose is one of the carbohydrate components in glycoproteins. Changes in cell surface glycoprotein levels may be accompanied by changes in fucose levels.
