The publication of “The Bride Came to Huangtian Town” by Stephen Kline reveals the impact of the development of industrial civilization on the agriculture in the west of the United States in the late 19th century and provides a new perspective for the interpretation of American western culture. The narrative art in the novel greatly enhances the ideological connotation and artistic value of the article. As one of the narrative techniques, the transformation of narrative perspective plays an important role in it. It freely changes the two modes of perspective transformation and reaches the rhetorical effect with suspense as the main content.
