Caterpillars have a natural habit, that is, the first one to where to go, the rest will follow in turn. They are neatly lined up, and the one following is the one that follows, whichever way the first one is spinning or crooked, and the second one following it. This is because the first caterpillar pulls a filament while walking, and the second caterpillar marches on this filament, and so on, it becomes a caterpillar boulevard. A biologist has done an interesting experiment. He put more than a dozen caterpillars on the edge of the flowerpot, surrounded by flowerpots, and the central flowerpot was a blooming flower. Caterpillars formed a closed ring. They are automatically equidistantly distributed, at the same speed, in unison, and start a uniform circular motion around the edge of the pot.
