In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars began arsenic trioxide (As2O3) trial for the treatment of refractory, recurrent multiple myeloma (MM), has achieved some efficacy. In order to explore its mechanism of action and to find a combination of low toxicity and effective treatment, we observed the effects of As2O3 and As2O3 combined with ascorbic acid (AA) on proliferation, apoptosis and proapoptotic effects of RPMI8226 cells, and then explored the relationship between these effects and death receptors
